Faye developed an early passion for pinhole cameras and was shooting news when she was 17 years old. She went on to study Cinematography at Bournemouth Film School where she lit numerous S16mm films and by the age of 23, she was an established Focus Puller. As an assistant she learnt her craft from Cinematographers such as Patrick Duval, Franz Pagot AIC and Peter Talbot.
Since becoming a head of department herself she has shot documentaries all over the world, filmed commercials and corporates for the likes of Crisis, Top Shop and Hugo Boss, visually co-ordinated a live 12 camera internet broadcast and operated on an HD production of King Lear starring Ian McKellan for Channel 4. She was one of just four up and coming Cinematographers to be taken on to Skillsets Guiding Lights scheme and is being mentored by Remi Adefarasin (Band of Brothers, Elizabeth).
