Hank and Stacy are two country kids with big dreams of the city. They head to big Chicago to stay with Hanks sister, Elizabeth, and her womanizing husband Jeff, only to find that their dreams may not come as easy as they had planned. The film captures the couples’ crazy first two nights in their new city and new life.

The Beginners is a film in 50 minutes, with three locations and 5 actors. The movie takes place over 2 days in a Chicago home.

The Beginners is a dramatic, funny, coming of age film that inspires us to overcome our inhibitions and follow our dreams.

OUR GOAL
One of the best things about making our films is the opportunity to collaborate with our team of artists to tell great stories. On our previous films, many of the costs of production have been paid by the director and producer. Unfortunately we can no longer afford to fund our films on our own. Thats why we’re turning to a larger community to help tell this great story.

It is our goal to make sure we have enough funds to send The Beginners to as many film festivals as possible.
