Synopsis: In the near future, America has launched into a second civil war. In this harsh war zone, the 29th unit of a large rebellion force against the corrupt government falls under an ambush by enemy forces. Only five survive the attack, and take shelter in an abandoned building. Here they come to the conclusion that someone tipped off the enemy forces, and since they witnessed the death of the rest of the unit, the traitor must be among them. Tension runs high as they reflect on the ambush and wait to be rescued. However, they know that if they don’t figure out who the mole is in the remaining five soldiers, the fate of the rebellion is sealed.

What makes The 29th Unit different?
Although this film has some similarities to Reservoir Dogs in concept, the way the story plays out make it completely different from Quentin Tarantino’s work. It’s has many flashbacks to moments before the Unit is ambushed and the soldiers lives before they joined with the rebellion. If anything, it’s more like Lost meets Saving Private Ryan. The characters also make it very different. The rebellion works like the US Marines, so the survivors ranks also effect how they interact with each other. There is a Communications Officer (Corporal Audrey Hodge), a fatally wounded soldier (Lance Corporal Ed Fuller), two Private First Class’ (Andrew Kaynen and Philip Campos) , and a wounded medic (Private Heather Jerrolds). It’s very unique in it’s style, and tense in it’s methods.
