About �The Secret Plus Girls�

Three ordinary Plus Size girls, who are friends and co-workers, find themselves in the middle of an FBI investigation when their boss is abducted and held for ransom by the Mob.  After finding the ransom note and reporting it to the authorities it soon becomes clear that the fate of their boss's life lies in their hands.  The girls are recruited by the FBI to go undercover not only to save their boss from certain death but also to collect on the reward money offered by the Federal Government to bring down the Mob family connected with the kidnapping.  The three full figured girls undergo a crash course in FBI protocol, crime fighting and firearm techniques; and these once ordinary girls soon find themselves face to face with action, adventure and danger at every turn!

Devyn Ashley is a Plus Size Actress from the Los Angeles area.  It was around this time last yerar that Devyn Was inspired to write the short film "The Secret Plus Girls" based on three Plus Size characters that more resembled the type of fantastic roles normally cast by the average size actress.  Early on in this endevor, Devyn enlisted the help of Chevaughn Fruge, a Plus Size Actress that Devyn met in 2009 on the set of the Fox series, Bones.  Since then, full figured actress Christina Echeverria has been cast to round out the line-up of the three fiery detectives for the 27 minute short film "The Secret Plus Girls". 

"The Secret Plus Girls" is presently in pre-production with scheduled principal photography to start on February 4th, 2012.

The Goal

The goal for "The Secret Plus Girls' is $5500 by January 31st, 2012. Your contribution will go directly toward: hiring crew members (including a Director of Photography, Make-Up Artist, Wardrobe), renting equipment (cameras, lighting, lenses); and other necessities to make this project work like: food, location rental, gas, and transportation.

In order to finish this project, we are "cashing in" as many favors as possible in order to ensure we get enough bang for our buck and realize full responsibility in utilizing our resources wisely!  We are deeply grateful for your support on any level and we have set up some pretty fun perks as a token of our genuine appreciation.  Thank you for taking the time to visit our page and come back often as we will be regularly updating the status of the project right here!
