Our Story
Hello Everyone! My name is Joshua Lawrence and I am a filmmaker from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This summer we will be making a feature film called "The Season".
The film is about a young man named Tyler whose older brother dies only two days after graduating from Juilliard, and how it changes the families lives forever. The film is about Love, Music, Ballet, and LIFE, and is going to be a truly wonderful submission to Film Festivals all over the world in the 2012 Film Festival Circuit and will be done in enough time for submission to Sundance 2012.
The film is going to be shot completely on DSLR Camera's in FULL HD CINEMA. The film will have some brilliantly choreographed Ballet dances, as well as some completely wonderful original piano scores. This film is guaranteed to make people happy, and make people cry. The run-time of the film will be between 90 - 120 mins long.
The Impact
This film is a truly delicate film, just by nature of the script, and we are ready to get started with it. All auditions will be in August, and you can actually follow our Journey with the film through Youtube, and Facebook. We will be posting videos weekly on Youtube taking everyone behind the scenes of making the film, as well as posting it on Facebook, and posting updates. You guys will even have the opportunity to help us cast the film as we begin to narrow the auditions down. Filming starts early June and will last until the end of July.
We must truly meet our goal, in order to make this happen. We have already received alot of help from many people who are willing to do things for us for free, but we still have to pay for some stuff to get done. This is where your help can come in and save us.

WE HAVE CHILDREN AS YOUNG AS AGE 10 WORKING IN THE CREW BECAUSE THEY TOO WOULD LIKE TO ONE DAY BE FILMMAKERS & THEY WANT TO LEARN JUST AS MUCH AS WE DO! WE CAN NOT WAIT TO GET THIS PROJECT STARTED!
