The Resolution

   Every writer, filmmaker, actor, actress, editor, composer, producer, director of photography, make-up artist searches for that one project that will launch their career and put their names on the lips of moviegoers across the nation. For me and the talented artists that have gathered together in support of my script, The Resolution is that project. 

   We have the cast and crew in place and have shot the promotional trailer for The Resolution. Now its time to turn our focus to raising the $17,000.00 needed to shoot the full short film. In time, this short will join three other shorts in a feature length film titled Rick Tobins Twisted Tales of Madness and Murder. 

   My award winning short horror script attracted the talented Director Rick Walters of Adventus Films. His dedication to this project and his belief in its success has brought together a wonderful group of passionate talent. We all put our hearts and soul into bringing our promotional trailer to life and cant wait to continue the journey by shooting the full short. Rick Walters impressive knowledge and his many contacts in the filmmaking community along with his impressive attention to detail and organizational talents was integral in bringing the trailer for The Resolution to fruition.  With his leadership, our talented cast and crew, and our combined passion for the project, we can and will develop an award-winning film. 

   Jeremy Berg, our Producer, has put together an amazing cast.  It was thrilling to watch Erwin Galan, Tabitha Bastien, Nathan McWalters and Andi Norris bring my characters to life.   Chris Taylor of Adventus Films, our Director of Photography blew me away with his ability to change the entire feel of a scene with a single lighting change.  His camera work and eye for lighting brought our trailer to a whole new level.  David Wesley Phillips, our Editor, is a genius at putting the pieces of our puzzle together.

   Kate Dixson, our special effects and make-up artist, is the wizard behind those realistically bloody scenes.  Catherine Grealish has provided us with a haunting score.  Mary Webster, our extraordinary PR person is gearing up to unleash our campaign to the world.

   The team responsible for the terrifying trailer The Resolution are primed and ready to create a short horror film that will have people clawing the edge of their seats.  Thanks for taking the time to check out this project.  We would be so indebted for your support.

The Resolution when completed will be sent out to make the rounds at the many 2012 horror film festivals across the country. Shriekfest film festival, Terror film festival, The International Horror and Sci-fi film festival, Eerie Horror fest are all on our agenda.  As the buzz for our project builds, we will move on to the next segment in the Twisted Tales anthology.
