Synopsis

Travelling the countryside with only what he can fit on a motorcycle, stand-up comic Daryl Makk sheds the stereotypical biker image of the lawless heathen as he sets out to educate the sheeple of the world. From town to town, country to country, our host reveals an unexplored culture presenting the real and often overshadowed community of riders. From dual sport to cruiser, dirt bike to enduro, no ride will be ignored. Even if you are not a rider come along for the view. You don’t have to ride to enjoy the planet.

Season 1 sends Daryl and The Planet Tour across the great Canadian landscape. With no help from the crew, Daryls survival is dependent on his own riding experience, ingenuity and the kindness of strangers to see him from one edge of the country to the other.

Cruise the West coast of Vancouver Island, witness spring turn to summer in the Rockies and experience the midnight sun of the North. See the world renowned Calgary Stampede, visit motorcycle camp grounds in Kootenay National Park, feel the mist of Niagara Falls, ride with the Wharf Rat Rally to Digby, Nova Scotia in time to see autumns spectacular display of colour and, of course, catch a series of comedy shows along the way.

Funding
Help us bring this show to reality. We are looking for support and funds to develop the Pilot Episode. The money will go into the production from Calgary to Canmore to Banff in the Alberta side of the Rocky Mountains. The Pilot will secure sponsors for production of the cross-Canada tour.
