The Nature of Progress is a short film about man’s relationship with nature and his destruction of it.

Is man’s body a separate entity from his environment? Or are they one? And does destroying one also kill the other?

Highly stylized, visual, satirical, absurd and primal. A beatnik play complete with poetry and bongos.

The $3,500 Im looking to raise will cover the cost of the location. The film takes place in an art gallery, and art galleries are very expensive to rent for filming in. A creative warehouse space or loft are other possibilities and almost just as expensive.

Of course if you have an ART GALLERY in the LA area that you could let us shoot in for no cost – then that would take care of this round of fund raising. There are a couple photos in the Gallery section that show the kind of gallery I need and the minimum size.

Im planning for an October shoot. Im investing some of my own money and I own a Red 4k camera so the film will look fabulous and very high end. I will need additional funds on top of the $3,500 but right now raising funds to cover the location is the first step and the most important one.
