Our Story
The trailer was shot specifically for crowdfunding on IndieGoGo.
The Liberation of James Joyce is a dramedy that centers around David, a functional alcoholic in his early 30's, whose life is in pieces. While driving cross-country, David encounters two prostitutes who will change him forever, and vice-versa. The film takes a look at a man, who has no interest in helping himself, but goes out of his way to help a wayward teen.
The Liberation of James Joyce was written by Ryan Alexander. The screenplay was in the works for almost four years. It was originally titled, It's Midnight, James.

Where The Money Goes
The money I'm raising will go toward paying location fees, equipment rental, art department, craft services, insurance, permits, post production work, making DVDs, festival entry fees and cast and crew.
