Our Story

Take one video game series that everyone knows and loves, add a few college students and a YouTube music video. What do you get? The Legend of Phoenix.

The action all starts with Navi walking in on Link sitting at a bar with Zelda. She thinks hes cheating on her. She storms out and Zelda gets kidnapped. Link is supposed to go and save Zelda, but finds out theres a new villain in town.

The series will be shot around the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus fall 2011.

The Impact

Im an aspiring filmmaker and director. I had wanted to direct a staged reading of a play through my school, but was rejected. Rather than sit there and do nothing, I met up with a group of friends and came up with the idea for this web series.

This project will happen no matter what, but with your help, we can upgrade our equipment. We have no budget and are in need of better editing software as well as sound equipment and money to make props.

What We Need & What You Get

We need editing software, sound equipment, prop supplies and location fees. If we dont meet our goals, well use the money to defray the costs we incur.
