The Lady of Shalott is a short film based on the Lord Tennyson Poem of the same name.A young Maiden the Lady of Shalott is cursed to spend her life trapped in a tower. Not knowing what the curse may be if she goes into the outside world the Lady of Shalott stays in her tower with only her loom and a magic mirror to keep her company. The mirror reflects to her the world outside, showing her all the delights the people of Camelot enjoy. Content to weave tapestries of everything she sees the Lady of Shalott leads a unfulled life. This is until Lancelot, the Knight of legend and lore, rides by her tower. Seeing such a striking figure in her mirror the Lady of Shalott is changed forever. Lancelot has stirred the longing for love and human touch that until now The Lady of Shalott had not desired. Now a choice must be made stay safe, alone and never know love or throw all caution to the wind and follow her hearts desire regardless of consequence.
