Before I begin explaining the pledge drive, I want to explain the finders fee. It is very simple.

1.      You refer an individual or group.

2.      That individual or group pledges a $100 or more.

3.      I write you a check for 10% of that pledge.

4.      You will receive an Associate Producer credit on the film.

Think about it, if an individual or group pledges $500, I will write you a $50 check just for the introduction. No strings attached.

A cross between "Midnight Cowboy" and "Natural Born Killers," The Germ and the Nig characters Amon Keller, a German immigrant has a fixation on Sharon Citizen, an African American. Amon envisions powering and dominating Sharon, but his visions quickly dissipates after their encounter as Sharon infuses her power and domination over him. Sharon exposes Amon to violence that is far beyond what he imagined. It frightens him and as he simply thinks, he can distance himself from her; he soon realizes it is not that simple.

Your pledge to The Germ and the Nig contributes to the employment of the actors, and crew. It also pays for securing locations, catering, and travel expenses as well as necessary equipment and supplies. It also finances the marketing of the film, and all the miscellaneous occurrences throughout preproduction, production, and postproduction of the film. By pledging, you will receive a pledge package with a combination of the following items after postproduction:

1. A DVD or Blu-Ray DVD
2. A t-shirt
3. An autographed mini or full size poster
4. An autographed copy of the screenplay
5. A credit on the film, website, and posters as one of several producers

Also I want to talk about something very important. I recently viewed a segment on television stating that food pantries in Northeast Ohio are going bare because of more individuals in need due to the lagging economy. Individuals in need now, were once those who donated. The segment touched me deeply; I thought there must something I can do; I then contacted The Cleveland Food Bank. Upon speaking to individuals, I discovered the wonderful service the food bank provides for Northeast Ohio.

Therefore, 5% of all pledges will go to the food bank within seven business days after the pledge period ends. Pledge goal is $200,000 in which 5% would be $10,000. That amount of a donation can create 40,000 meals. Please pledge, and be proud in knowing that you joined in the fight against hunger.
