Our Story

The Genies are an Indie band from London with an international flavour- made up of Scottish, Italian, English and Australian blood, and have a sound which is extremely unique to todays music arena.

The band is made up of a 5 piece set up:

Rob Payne- Lead Guitar & Backing Vocals

Mattia Milan- Bass & Backing Vocals

Ryan Pincott- Drums & Percussion

Jimi Yates- Keyboards & Backing Vocals

The Impact

We have been invited to work with one of the worlds top producers who has worked with producing albums which have gone Platinum, made it to number 1 in the UK charts and he only works with bands who are destined to do big things. We will be initially recording 2 tracks which will be produced and ready for release. The release may well be picked up by a label in this time.

What We Need & What You Get

The cost of this project is initially well in excess of 7000, however after scrambling every penny we have between us, we find ourselves about USD $3600 short. We are looking for donations of any size which will allow us to start the process to full fill our dream of being signed by a label and releasing an album for the world to hear.

This campaign is not about funding the full amount that we need- its about recognising that every bit counts, and we believe that if we can hit our goal of $1800USD, then we are half way achieving something special!

This will be drawn on the 31st October 2011 in the UK.
