Why this is being done and needs your support

  Hi this is Michael the creator of this project, also an artist, filmmaker, actor and I'm speaking to you as  the host for the show. Everyday I talk to somebody that doesn't know about some of the cool independent film stuff/filmmakers self distributing online, in my opinion there is still a huge disconnect with fans and the new media independent film movement online. It will be my continuing effort to support the new media indie film making community @fansoffilm, fansoffilm.com, fansoffilm.tv, The Fans Of Film Show, and to promote indie film projects on a local and international scale.

This will be a film show available on the web and local Television here in New Mexico channel 26 http://www.quote-unquote.org/  giving Albuquerque citizens an outlet to express their 1st amendment rights & to empower the community through Media Arts Education.

This interview is an example that can be expanded on for the further exposure and need to offer a venue here in New Mexico for filmmakers by filmmakers to talk about their work.

Our story

The Fans Of Film Studio is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
After two years of sharing and promoting filmmakers on Twitter @FansOfFilm with a following of 15,300+, we believe this show is much needed and long overdue.

The Fans Of Film Show will provide different content than any other film show as we highlight filmmakers, films, film sites, film resources, film profiles on Twitter, and any other film related stuff we may happen to wanna throw on the show, including some comedy relief. This will also be social production involving filmmakers and fan videos, (see submission links)   .

Lets witness together the largest transfer of media in the history of media distribution, as every filmmaker, film studio's and major television network around the world take their content to the web. All of this challenges (DRM) 'Digital Rights Management' across the board, and Fans Of Film wants to report this as it happens to the world.

We are asking for 10 min filmmaker interviews, 1 1/2 min comedy shorts films, and fan video's saying you/I love movies and which is your favorite movie. All video's can be be posted to our Youtube Channel or on the site http://fansoffilm.com

Huge, more people will now what I know, which is a lot and needed, telling one person at a time of what's going on in the indie film scene online is not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!
