The Movie
Our feature film titled "The Death of Bentley Adams" is a drug culture crime drama about a meth manufacturer who wants out of the business and its his last day, but he has to make it through the day and comes face to face with every bad choice, bad friend and bad deal hes ever made.
Bentley doesnt glorify the world of methright the opposite. Its a tragedy depicting how horribly wrong lives can turn when afflicted by this lifestyle. That said, its not a moralistic rendering. We present this story prima facie and let the viewers decide.
The Company
We're Digital Junky LLC based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Being near Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) puts us in touch with plenty of talent eager to make their mark. Duncan James wrote this low-budget feature with this talent pool in mind--they have the knowledge and experience to do a great job on the project without breaking the bank in the process.
The Shoot
We're slated for June 4 through June 18 with a few weekends after that for the secondary locations. We will shoot on Canon 5D and 7D cameras. The full frame sensor of the 5D is awesome and the 7D will give us great angles. The 5D was used to film the entire season finale of "House." Digital SLRs are the way of future filmmaking--and the future is here!
The Goal
With your help, we will produce the film (get it in the can as they say). As a major contributor to the success of the picture, you as an investor have the right to be recognized for your efforts. Your name and title, depending on contribution level, will appear in the opening and/or closing credits in keeping with the appearance of modern feature film credits. The unique position you find yourself in is that of generous benefactor without whom many of todays classic movies would never have been produced. In return, you will be identified on a national, perhaps even international stage for having contributed to the arts and making this film possible.
The Need
Our production budget is $85,044 figured down to the last detail. Every penny raised will go towards this aim and we won't stop until it's up on the screen. Every donor will receive a credit in the final credits of the film as well as the perks listed for the specified contribution levels.
The Network
Please don't keep this opportunity to yourself. Tell all your friends and family and spread our campaign on every social network you're on. The more people you tell, the more will donate and the greater chance for success. All we need are 850 donors at the Forever Family level to make this dream happen, but please give at any level you're able to.
We thank you very much for your support.
