Our Story
The Chainsaw Sally Show started out as an experiment to see
if we could make an online TV show in a sitcom style with no support whatsoever. We did.
That experiment grew and grew into the cult hit that it is today. Not only did season one of the show draw
about 20,000 viewers a week as it streamed online, but it also sold a large
number of DVDs, which paid for more ads in Fangoria, Rue Morgue and Scars, AND
gave us funds to buy more and better equipment for future productions. Season one has now been picked up by Troma,
and is distributed world wide, as well as playing on television - Comcast On
Demand right NOW!
We are currently in production of Season Two of the show,
and, would like to take the show at a higher level than Season One, thought it
would be interesting to try the fan-based support of IndieGOGO to see if we
could raise more funds to pay our talent and crew, AND to create better special
FX. The simple thing you Sally fans need
to know is More $$$= More GORE!
The Impact
If we do not reach our goal, the world as we know it may well come to an end. Just FYI.
What We Need & What You Get
We came up with a modest wish list budget, which equals out
to a little more than $1,000 an episode.
Considering most sitcoms are running over a million an episode, it seems
really modest. Our goal is to reach
$12,000. We have several talented indie folks doing
cameos and larger roles, such as Cult Goddess Debbie Rochon, The Super Sexy
Suzi Lorraine, Hot Mama Monique Dupree, and Indi Showman Rob Dimension. The bottom line is The show is bigger,
badder, and bloodier. This season already
has the volume knob turned up to 11wed like to take it to 12and to do that,
we humbly ask your support. More $$$=MORE
GORE!
We have put together a package of incentives that I think
