The goal is to use virtual currencies to create new economies, and in doing so, solve the global economic crisis.

Current Status

InformedTrades.com is the prototype. It is cash flow positive and profitable, generating between $4,000 and $10,000 per month in revenue. The goal of this fundraising effort is to use funds to generate more revenue from that site, and to build other niche sites like it (i.e. learn to cook, learn fishing, learn to play guitar, etc) leveraging the same standards (i.e. same technology, same information architecture principles, same game play elements, etc).

The goal is to raise $75,000, and to use the proceeds to have the project finance itself from there on out.

Why YOU Should Contribute

In addition to being able to call yourself a hero who helped save the world — LITERALLY! — those who contribute $1,000 or more will have a song written about the subject matter of their choice. A video performance of the song will be added to Kid Mercury’s video channel , and an mp3 of the song will be distributed to iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody, and Amazon, where others can purchase it. Proceeds will be used to advance The Business Plan That Saves the World. The song will be just an acoustic guitar and vocals, similar to Kid Mercury’s other songs.
