Our Story

The idea for this project has been percolating in the head of our creative leader, Sean Patrick Kennedy, for several years; but last year, he decided it was time to make it a reality. The story started to come to life on the page as a script and then to take on a life of its own. Sean reached out to his friends, Mike Hammer and Keith Kramer, to help take this project from the page to the screen.

Sam Savage is a hard-boiled detective in the 1950�s. A former army hero who fell from grace and disappeared into the jungles of South America, he has recently decided to start piecing his life back together in the place he grew up, South Florida. Over the course of 12 webisodes, Sam will start a new case that leads into a dangerous plot, involving him with beautiful women, evil villains, and even putting him up against Nazis! The story also digs up memories in flashbacks to important moments in Sam�s life from WWII. This all takes place in a world slightly different from the one we know. The Nazis acquired advance technology from a crashed alien spaceship which helps the Axis win control of Europe, Asia and North Africa. History in Sam�s world has progressed a bit differently from that point. Different people have lived and died; leading to world leaders, religious leaders, nations and even movie stars dropping occasional surprises into the very exciting world and story of Sam Savage�

This will be a stylized Film Noir project with some aspects of war, and sci-fi worked in. Some of the scenes will be shot green screen to help us produce more detailed and correct backdrops for the story.

The web series is only one part of the project. We will also be producing old fashioned radio dramas, complete with commercials (stylized like those from the 40s and 50s), that will tell more of Sam�s story and even a digital comic book to tell more yet! This is really a multi-media project.

The Impact

We already have invested a lot of time and money in this project. Studio build out, sets, props, costumes, and computer graphics will make this incredible, but we need more money to help bring it to reality. Sean, Keith, and Mike have put the rest of their lives on hold while they breathe life into Sam Savage. Don�t send us back to the 9-5 grind!! We know we have a great story and great ideas; we just want to share it. We also are assembling an incredible cast and crew who are chomping at the bit to get started.

This story is just itching to be told, help us tell it!

What We Need & What You Get

The bottom line, to make this project with the level of excellence it deserves, we need another $25,000. This will allow us to get access to props, locations and talent we could not otherwise afford. We already have a plan to produce the project and have sources of financing that will allow us to move forward but it will affect the speed at which we can move and the overall quality of the project would likely not meet the standard we plan to achieve.

We really want everyone who helps us to feel that they are part of the project. So we will be offering some great gifts to contributors. T-shirts, signed photos, signed DVDs, screen credit, and even tickets to the VIP Premiere or a walk-on role in an episode!
