More than 400 million people will play with Lego this year, but only 9 can call themselves a master until now.
This is the journey of Duncan, a 35 year old father of two from Surrey, as he bids to become

The 10th Lego Master

There are 62 Lego bricks for every man woman and child on the planet, and Duncan can claim to own a large proportion of these. Duncan is an AFOL an adult fan of Lego, and one of over 250,000 people around the world that take their obsession with the brick to unimagined levels. Although a builder by trade, Duncan has serious ambitions to join the elite group of individuals endorsed by Lego as a professional constructor of art installations, and has decided to quit his job to begin his freelance Lego career.

Through Duncans journey to become the tenth master, well explore grown up issues in an adolescent world, and find out why adults are still embracing the brick as their preferred means of expression. Duncan meets some of the existing professionals as they give him tips on how he can become the master, which allows the chance to see some of the innovative ways in which they are using Lego to express their art.

We’re looking to tap into fellow Lego fans, to crowdsource funds to create a fun feature documentary that follows Duncan’s journey. The amount we’re asking for will cover travel costs to the existing Lego Masters, and will create the trailer for what will become an irresistible film for TV and feature film financiers.
