Our Story

We're asking for just one dollar. Here's why: One of the biggest hurdles that our team (and our friends for that matter) have found in web television is how difficult it is for great videos (web series and others) to be noticed and seen and develop a following. On the positive side, we have noticed that a channel that develops a following usually has permission to experiment with new ideas and shows as long as the quality does not falter. Toward that end, we have decided to create TangoDango, a channel that delivers a different web series each day of the week. We are planning to re-vamp an old show (News for Blondes), create some new ones (including Uncle Vic's Kitchen), and partner with friends in web-television to deliver fun and original web series. 

The Impact

TangoDango aims to be a unique brand in web-television, delivering quality web series that are funny, informative, and offer a take-away (a recipe, a point of view, a joke, etc.). We believe that the model behind TangoDango will become the standard by which online channels will be built in the future. We also believe that this kind of channel provides opportunities for creators to incubate, develop, and create web series in ways that allow them to do what they do best: create!

What We Need & What You Get

We need 2,000 people (more is even better) to become part of the support network to launch TangoDango. What does that mean? Make a contribution of one dollar (more if you are so moved) and then get involved with the channel by subscribing on YouTube, become a fan on facebook, follow us on twitter, and get ready to participate in launch-week activities.
