Welcome to the GREENWAY ENTERTAINMENT. Greenway Entertainment Limited and The Book Movie Limited are production companies owned by Steven M. Smith and have been set up with the specific purpose of producing and marketing the four films named "The Book","Dance Star", "Haunted", "Side By Side" "Disturbance", "Assembly Of Dreams" and "Infamous".
Greenway Entertainment is looking for interested parties, feature film investors, and film fans to invest in their production slate of four completely independently funded British projects. All the films have a psychological or supernatural, high-suspense, thriller-style theme, sharing a number of characteristics with such successful productions as The Sixth Sense and The Others , with drama, action, suspense and the odd twist fashioned into the plot, all leading to an unexpected final outcome.
This high-suspense supernatural thriller-style of movie is a speciality of Steven M. Smith (Writer and Director) and with these particular projects he is playing very much to his strengths. In 2005 he wrote, produced and directed Time of Her Life , Greenway Entertainment's first low-budget film which was shown at Cannes 2005 and Edinburgh 2005 Film Festivals and was released in the USA 23rd January 2007 through Vanguard Cinema International, with release in UK 5th May 2008, Russia 2008, Italy, Spain and France scheduled for 2008 with a SPECIAL EDITION UK release in 2008. Time of Her Life also won an award at its premiere screening for � Outstanding achievement in film making � (Source � Joseph Award 2005 ).
Previously Steven M. Smith has worked as Production Assistant on Four Weddings and a Funeral and The Mystery of Edwin Drood and has since written several screenplays including an un-produced episode of the much loved television series Lovejoy . An experienced team supports Steven, including Barry Lupton (Producer and Editor) who, with Kirk Gaydon (Unit Production), founded Reel Digital , a production company that has created many media productions.
In recent years, supernatural storylines have attracted much contemporary interest from a broad audience age range, thus providing access to a wide market place and therefore significantly improving the prospects of commercial success like The Sixth Sense ($662 million gross worldwide) and The Others ($210 million gross worldwide) .
