I am working to expand the sustainable international development movement from one primarily focused on environmental sustainability to one focused on both environmental and
human sustainability. While we must transform how humanity relates to Mother Earth (from resource to partner), we must also
transform how humanity relates to Itself (from cut throat competition to innovation-producing cooperation).
While I have a B.S. in Civil Engineering and am deeply concerned about the state of the world's physical infrastructure, my studies with Systems Thinking / Developmental pioneers
Buckminster Fuller,
W. Edwards Deming, and
Russell L. Ackoff drives my current transformational business vision.
Also, my awareness of how the entertainment world has helped influence sociopolitical progress has led me to partner with the entertainment world in the past and to be seeking new opportunities to do so today. I consider the fact that King Abdullah of Jordan (an acknowledged Star Trek fan for many year) is building a
Star Trek-themed amusement park in Jordan to be a development with potentially far-reaching consequences.
