Our Story

                                                                                                                                                   Starfist: A Few Good Men, is an original story, live-action web series based on characters and universe created by David Sherman & Dan Cragg, to be filmed in the Tampa Bay area. This project started 8 years ago when Eric Bean (Producer/Screenwriter), read the first novel in the book series and knew it had to be on the big screen. Since then he has put together a team of film professionals that share his and literally a million other fans, passion and love for the story and see its transmedia potential (Film, TV, Videogame, Graphic Novel).

The Impact

                                                                                                                                                         The purpose of this web series trailer is three-fold; first, to gain the "Brand Marketing" and sponsorship a web series of this magnitude needs, secondly to bring to life the rich characters and stories developed by the original authors, and third, to bring another facet of the film industry to Tampa Bay. With the growing popularity of New Media on the web and big production companies scouring the internet for their next "Tent Pole" franchise, the time to bring Starfist alive is now!

We will also further film awareness in Tampa Bay, high-light the many talented professionals in the area as well as create jobs that may not necessarily be here.

Sound Stage(1): $400 (2 days x $200)                                                                                                                 Costume(10): $1350 (2 days x $675)                                                                                                                  Actors(10): $2000 (2 days x $100)                                                                                                                           Red Camera(1): $500 (Flat Fee)                                                                                                                             Craft Service: $300 (Flat Fee)

Misc: $500 (Flat Fee)

All funds donated will go toward the furthering of this project.
