Sponsored By Nobody is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the purposes of Sponsored By Nobody must be made payable to Fractured Atlas and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

SPONSORED BY NOBODY are in the midst of a $50,000 Capital Campaign initiated by donations from two private individuals that total $25,000.

We are responsible for raising the matching funds in support of our 2011-2012 season.
Phase One of our fundraising campaign begins here via this INDIEGOGO platform.
Phase Two begins later this Fall via a series of events in New York City.

All contributions will go towards the cost of three individual projects:

1) The NYC premiere of ATM or this is [not] new york --
-- which premiered at the Monty Arts Center in Antwerp, Belgium.

2) The revival of our company's inaugural work The Position --
-- as a site-specific touring production in the USA and UK.

3) The development of a new work, scheduled to premiere in Belgium during 2012.

ALL CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED VIA INDIEGOGO
WILL BE MATCHED BY A PRIVATE DONOR!!

We must meet our Phase One goal of $15,000 by November 10, 2011 --
-- or we risk losing the matching funds!
We cannot legally use any of the original pledged amount --
-- until we meet this Phase One goal!!

SPONSORED BY NOBODY are an international theatre company based in Brooklyn,
committed to developing original work that is relevant to our contemporary culture.
Founded in 2005, SBN presents presenting abrasive, engaging theatre
which refuses to relinquish the idea of art as a catalyst for social change.
While rooted in theatre, SBN incorporates multiple disciplines in our work
-- borrowing from dance, film, music and installation art --
while employing both found-texts and original writing.

SBN remains committed to a collaborative development process
and operates with a sense of urgency on projects undertaken by the company.
The goal of maintaining a sense of relevance and immediacy to our contemporary
reality
remains the foundation to the companys approach.

"Has emerged as one of the best kept secrets of New York's alternative theatre scene,
guarantees socially critical drama without an accusing finger or politically whining tone."
De MORGEN
