Our Story

    Hey Y'all! We're Sourpatch, a hard working indie punk band from San Jose, CA. We've toured 5 times since we started as wee patchling in 2008 and have released 2 records since and are now releasing our second full length and are doing a 5 1/2 week tour in support of it! In order to complete this new endeavor we're raising money for a much needed band van and need your help!

    On past tours, we have driven in separate vehicles, borrowed equipment and rented pricey vans just to be on the road. On this new tour, the trip is too long and impractical to rent a van for the ridiculous prices they ask for. If you help us get to our goal, we will be able to finally get our own reliable band transportation. Even if we do not reach our goal you will have given us a good chunk of what is needed to acquire one.

    We need $3,000 dollars to be able to afford a reasonable, used van. After much deliberation and scouring Craigslist, we figured that our goal is pretty realistic.
