We are Singleton, an indie-rock band from Kiev, Ukraine.

This campaign will help us to raise funds to record our new album.

We are an indie band and what we do we do by ourselves. It took us ages to bring our debut album The High Seas out, but this time we dont want you to wait for too long. Your contribution would allow us to speed the process up and make a high-quality record in a really good studio. We want you to hear the new songs the way we hear them in our heads.

To make it clear, our IndieGoGo funding goal will cover a half of the costs - the other half we are investing ourselves.

We plan to release the album under the Creative Commons license and make it available for download absolutely for free. Weve done the same thing with The High Seas and the results were amazing! We've had more than 100 000 listens on Jamendo alone. Our music has also served you well, as you have used it for your own creative projects on YouTube and elsewhere, and we regularly present some of the best on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Singleton's second album is going to contain 12 brand new tracks, and we can't wait to share them with you. The recording has already been started, and with your help we can finish it in time for a spring 2012 release.

Singleton is an indie rock band from Kiev, Ukraine. Its music is characterised by a raw guitar-driven sound and heartfelt, emotional vocals. Being in the avant-garde of Ukrainian indie music since 2004, Singleton has an extensive touring experience, with numerous shows in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus. At the end of 2008, the band got its first airplay on a German FM radio station. In 2009, the band released its debut EP "Storms" through Go Loud Records. Singleton played its first show in Germany in 2010 and finished the year with the release of their long-awaited debut album, "The High Seas", under the Creative Commons license. Since then, Singleton has got more than 100K listens on Jamendo and lots of positive reviews in international blogs.
