What do you get if you mix about five dozen eggs, enough guns to arm a small country, more explosions than you can throw a grenade at and a helicopter gunship? One hell of a shoot out!

Its the recipe were using to create every heart-stopping instant of SHOOT OUT, a movie that blends pulse-pounding action and British humour with the all-important damn good story...and, of course, an attack helicopter. Yep, were not kidding, an attack helicopter like this one will be in the film.

This is going to be a big one ladies and gents!

What's the Concept?

What's the Film about?

Tobey grew up believing his dad was a secret agent, the coolest guy in the world, all those lengthy absences explained by top secret, world-saving missions. But when his father left for a mysterious woman called Margaret, Tobey had to grow up fast and accept that, despite what everyone told him, his father is just a common criminal.

Nine years on, at the urging of the beautiful Alexis, Tobey tracks his father to a remote farm, miles from civilization. Suddenly, heavily armed squads of ex-special forces mercenaries descend on their location, and Tobey is shocked to discover that he was actually right about his dad the ?rst time. He really is a secret agent.

Now all Tobey has to do is help him save the world.

Emerging British Talent

Modern British cinema is mostly rooted deep in social realism, tackling domestic issues and knife crime and all that jazz. In contrast, we aim to stand out with our spin on Hollywood UK. SHOOT OUT aims to replicate the Hollywood summer look with the original twist that the cast and crew are home grown talent. We hope that this combination stands us in good stead on both sides of the Atlantic, but we wont forget our British ways, we still want to spill your tea!

The project will help to develop British film talent in front of and behind the camera. It will impact certain up-and-coming actors, help to develop their skills and, alongside experienced actors, will boost their image within the industry.

Where do you come in?

To make this film a reality we are looking to raise a total of 5,000. We can already supply the gunship, the guns and the talent. All we need is enough to cover some props, pyrotechnics, wardrobe, equipment rental, travel and food for the cast...and a few more props that we can blow to bits.

We have a great list of perks, check them out on the right. Plus, the top 10 donors will receive an official associate producer credit on the film. That means your name will not only be on the film, but you will have an entry on IMDB! Great for yourself or a truly epic gift for a film-lover close to you.

As an added bonus, everyone who has contributed, whether it be a fiver or five hundred, will be entered into a lucky dip. The winner will appear in the film. Truly a chance to be a real part of the action.

What We Have So Far

- Canon 7D, 5D MKII, Panasonic AF100, Camera Jib, 15 metres Track and Dolly, Transportable Green Screen, Merlin Stedicam

We have most of the locations confirmed, most props bought, specific props being built right now, a pyro-technician for controlled explosions/squibs, armourer with prop guns, military base and possible military tactical squad.

We are also in negotiations for the use of a Chinook and a Puma helicopter! We are just waiting on the Ministry of Defence to confirm.
