Shango is a mythological West African God of Thunder and Shangri-La is the place of everything in moderation, peace and tranquil perfection. The combination of the two is essentially what I like to describe as the Yin and Yang of the real world and it’s a metaphor for the types of films I would like to make. Shango-La Entertainment, for me, represents just one vessel that seeks to empower all people, but especially the marginalized. As a Christian this is the central focus of my being.
