Seven step brothers and sisters come to terms with life, death, and family when they spend the night together after the death of their parents.

Jackson & Brookes last confrontation with his son Ross was ugly. Jackson loved him with a tough love, the kind of love Ross needed but never wanted and Brooke was caught in the middle. Ross never intended real harm; sure he might have fantasized about his fathers death and the sympathy it would generate, but he never expected his death so soon, or the way that it happened. But dealing with that would have to wait, he owed money – a lot of it – to some unsavory people and has little more than sixteen hours to get it or risk joining Jackson and Brooke in the afterlife, if there is such a thing.

In order to get it though, hell have to navigate his way through conning all of his brothers and sisters. What he doesnt expect is that theyve been conning him, and each other. As the truth comes out they discover each other all over again and see that their greatest weakness is in fact their greatest strength.
