Young Navajo Filmmaker, Camille Manybeads Tso, who made her award winning film “In the Footsteps of Yellow Woman” when she was 13 years old, has been accepted into the top film high school in the country, Idyllwild Arts Academy. She received a large scholarship for the majority of her tuition and her family and community has already helped her to raise the remaining $6,000.00 in tuition.
Now, she has the means in which to learn and hone her craft, she just needs the tools.
We are working to help her buy a new MacBook Pro computer, software including Final Cut Pro and Adobe CS5, an external hard drive, and a printer.
Unique Incentives include an ‘I sent Camille to film school’ button, a personalized video thank you, a credit in Camille’s next movie, a copy of Camille’s award winning film, “In the Footsteps of Yellow Woman”, and an hour of free filmmaking / Final Cut Pro consulting with Camille (on Skype or in person, location permitting).
