Our Story
In 2009, Santa Fe IFF was created by local entrepreneurial filmmakers wanting to respond to the growing need for a platform to specifically promote independent filmmakers for the Santa Fe community of film buffs. The first annual Santa Fe IFF was a resounding success, in 2010 the second Fest screened 80 films over 6 days, including 4 Discussions with filmmakers and five After-parties at the hottest venues in Downtown Santa Fe.
The Impact
The Santa Fe Independent Film Festival advances Santa Fe as a hub for filmmaking and a center for viewing cutting edge film, while attracting filmmakers and movie goers worldwide. The Fest impacts the youth, the community, and economic development and is a platform for independent art on a global scale. What We Need & What You Get
