Our Story

A few months ago, with more love and support than we ever could have hoped or expected, we made a movie, our first, "She's in the Details". When we wrapped picture in August, our goal became to take what had been beautifully captured/shot into a full-blooded motion picture bound for festivals, distribution, and, if we were lucky,  a general (or limited) theatrical release across the United States.

And now, phase one of those goals is set to begin: Festivals. 

We believe we have a great festival piece. "She's in the Details" is set to reset the status quo for films that 'empower' women as it boasts four complex female leads that are not defined or narratively motivated by their romantic entanglements. Their world is inhabited by characters of an alternative persuasion: slackers, artists, and pleasure seekers; each with their own agendas, hopes and dreams. The movie successfully gives these archetypes center stage and bases their conflicts not on their vices, but on the human drama that exists within all of us. 

The idea of the so-called 'chick flick' is about to change.

But we need your help to accomplish our goals. The average festival submission fee is (at least) $100 per submission and with the $3000 we're raising we can line up opportunities for this movie to be seen-no joke-the world over (not to mention coast-to-coast). Help make our dreams come true to have this movie given the chance to be seen and (potentially) awarded. There is a lot of wonderful talent on camera and behind in this movie. We can all reap the benefits of a successful festival reception. 

We (mostly) self-funded the $10,000 (plus) production budget on our own (though we did have some awesome sponsors come aboard during production)-so please donate and spread the word! "She's in the Details" can literally only thrive with your support this time. It doesn't just end with festivals. A successful campaign here will also grease the wheels of future distribution deals and brings us one-step-closer to 'coming soon to a theatre near you'.
