Ok, so here's the deal. I'm attending grad school for my MFA in Television, Film, & Theatre at Cal State LA. My school hosts a trip to go to Sundance, but we have to raise the money on our own. As a grad student, I feel that going to Sundance in my first year will majorly affect the rest of my time in grad school, and will severely give me insight as a filmmaker. However, as a student, I don't really have the money to just shell out to go. That's where I'm asking for your help. I'll need to raise money for flights, food, housing, and the festival pass. To have a comfortable trip: not too extravagant, but not too ill-conditioned, I'll need to raise $1200. I figure, I have over 1300 facebook friends, so that's less than just $1 per person! Heck, if everyone donates 50 cents, I'm more than halfway there! This goal is totally possible! So I'm asking for your help to fund this amazing opportunity I've been presented and help me grow immensely as a filmmaker.
