Ron Sung's Role: Ron Sung is a former Teach For America public school teacher in Oakland, CA. He has also previously worked as a teaching coach in a village in China with the Rural China Education Foundation. He first became interested in education as a mentor for first-generation college students as a student at the University of Texas at Austin. Although now a law student, Ron has not forgotten his roots in education, and he thinks Local Schools Local Needs can really help schools, teachers, and students.
