Rob Graydon

About Me

Rob Graydon has been an artist his entire life, My earliest memory is drawing. This later developed into a true love and passion for movies and filmmaking. Early in his career, for fourteen years, Rob honed his skills at knowing his audience by being a stand-up comic. This gave me the ability to know what works with people and what reactions I can get out of them; It was a priceless working experience. With these skills: artistry, filmmaking and the ability to read an audience, Rob has now turned his attention to working on music videos, concerts and socially conscious projects.

Robs recent documentary, Satyagraha 100 Years of Non-violence chronicled the 100 years between Gandhis first use of nonviolent protest (Sept. 11th, 1906) and the fifth anniversary of the World Trade Center attack (Sept. 11th, 2006). It was screened at the Regal Cinema at ground zero on 9/11, I might be the only filmmaker who can lay that claim.

Now, many of his projects lean toward the socially conscious. I believe anything I work on has to have value in the world around us. Hes currently working on projects involving Rwanda and Climate Change.

Rob has worked with such people as Jon Stewart, Ray Romano, Kevin James, Jeff Foxworthy, Denis Leary, Andrew Dice Clay, Rob Zombie, Willa Ford, The Black Crowes, The Go-Gos, Duran Duran, Ryan Adams, Amber, Donovan, Paul Shaffer, Arun Gandhi, George Houser, Bishop Desmond Tutu and many others.

Most recently, Rob worked with Jay-Z, NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Russian Billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov on a customized Nets Free Agent Recruitment iPad app.

Rob will also be venturing into telling more narrative stories.  He is in post-production on "La Soledad", a coming of age love story with a 2011 release.  His current film, "Z.O.V.", is in rehearsals and pre-production.
