When a Mexican woman, Tayde Casarez meets a Black woman, Shea Kirkland during a restaurant hold-up they think they have nothing in common. Initially, Tayde sees a homeless, annoying, loud mouth, ghetto, trash talking inner-city hood rat that she cant stand to be around. While Shea sees a stuck up, fast talking, head shaking, angry Mexican woman now in America sucking up all the resources. As the two women hide out from the police who think they are in on the hold-up, and the thugs who they can identify— a strange thing happens. Tayde and Shea develop a bond as strong as sisters. The things that separate them melt away to make room for the things that they have in common; such as facing criminal charges or being murdered by thug stick-up men. Not to mention no good boy friends, no good jobs, no good parents, and a certain food that they grew up hating. All of these things bring them closer together; but the one thing, the biggest thing they disagree on is that one hates Rice Cakes, and the other hates Beans. How will they ever get along?
