Reunion

A Holocaust survivor seeks to be reunited with his father, only to discover his father's identity has been stolen by the Nazi that separated him from his father

Reunion is a gripping emotional tale about a young Jewish man, Issy, who was separated from his father during the death marches in Auschwitz after Soviet troops were on the verge of toppling the Nazi forces at the concentration camp. Amidst the mayhem of many prisoners trying to escape, Issy struggled helplessly to grasp onto his father as a Nazi officer ripped his father away from him and pulled him into the chaos of escaping prisoners.

Over a decade has gone by and Issy still carries his scars from the war with him. He obtains news from a Jewish Organization that his father has been found and lives in California. Issy eagerly travels to California and doesnt know what to expect when his fathers new wife and young daughter welcome him into his fathers home. They talk to Issy about his father, and Issy senses something strange after uncovering more details about his father from his fathers new wife.

Finally, Issy meets his father and to his horror he discovers that the person claiming to be his father is the Nazi officer that ripped his father away from him in Auschwitz. The Nazi officer stole Issys fathers identity to save himself and his family from the Allied forces and military tribals in the aftermath of World War II. Following years of silence, pain, and loneliness, the scabs of Issys past are ripped off and the scars of losing his family opened once again.

After a terrible emotional anguish, Issy finds a gun. There is no turning back and Issy must now make an emotional decision that will resolve his past, but undoubtedly change his future forever.
