Our Story

Last year, we successfully raised money to produce our film, "Blaming George Romero." The movie turned out great, and we are entering film festivals with it as we speak. We learned so much on that project that we are ready to make an even bigger and better movie. We would like to continue the success we had on "Blaming George Romero" with our next feature, "Red Scare." To make the best movie possible, we need to raise as much as we can to get this project on its feet.

The Impact

We have assembled a fantastic cast & crew to put "Red Scare" together, but we do need more funding to make this the best movie possible. People are working for free on this project, but without the funding the movie will be limited. If we are properly funded, this movie can get made the way it should be made, and hopefully besides coming out of this with a great movie everyone will have an amazing experience and this movie could propel all of our careers forward.

What We Need & What You Get

We need to raise approximately $7,500 to make this movie the way we want. We need this money for equipment (cameras, lights, sound equipment), catering (like I said, everyone is working for free, but a well fed cast and crew is a happy cast and crew that works better than a hungry one), transportation (we are looking to shoot at locations all around the area and some further away. Again, everyone is working for free, but help with transportation is a fair trade for good, hard work), costumes, makeup, and props (this movie is a period piece so period specific clothing is required. It's also a zombie movie, so makeup is essential. And we will need props that are essential to the movie and period specific), money for DVD copies, and finally film festival entry fees. The only other source of funding at the moment is me (the writer, producer, and one of the actors), and I am most certainly not that well off. In exchange for your donation, you will receive one of our many fun and unique perks that range from producer credits, to shirts, to photo books, and more!

Other Ways You Can Help

There are other ways that you can help us out as well. Please spread the word to as many people as you know. If you have friends or family who are wealthy or interested in film (or both), please share this information with them. Also, if you know of any places that are willing to cut a break as far as food and catering goes, please share this information with them. Food donations, are just as important as financial donations.

For $25 or more, you will have the opportunity to play a zombie extra in the movie (Pending schedules).
$50 Autographed Cast Shot

For $50 or more, you will receive an autographed photograph of the principal cast.
$100 Wear the Movie

For $100 or more, you will receive an official limited edition "Red Scare" tee shirt. You will also recieve a signed copy of the film's poster.
$200 Associate Producer Credit +DVD

For $200 or more, you will be listed as an Associate Producer of the film and you will receive a DVD of "Red Scare" when available.
$250 Bringing it back to BGR

For $250 or more, you will receive an official "Blaming George Romero" photobook along with a signed copy of the "Blaming George Romero" Script. (For those not in the know, "Blaming George Romero" was our last movie.
$500 Executive Producer & Script

For $500 or more, you will recieve an Executive Producer credit (which comes along with your very own IMDB credit), an autographed copy of the "Red Scare" script, and a "Red Scare" photobook.
$1,000 PARTY WITH THE CAST & CREW

For $1,000 or more, you and a guest will receive an invitation to the official "Red Scare" cast party which will take place after principal photography has wrapped. The cast party for our last movie took place at Hendrickson's Bar & Restaurant in Bayonne, and we had an original cake provided by Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken. This is a time sensitive perk. We will not have the party until August at the earliest, but if you donate after we hold the party, you will not be able to attend.
