Wanda Cobar has an exemplary talent for fashion design. She has inspired admiration and applaud in the fashion circuit here in Chicago as well as leaving her mark in competitions abroad. Her designs are unique, edgy and in high demand. Wanda has a talent that excites, a drive that awes and a vision that inspires. She also has an understanding of what it means to give back to the community which forged her. 

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!!!!!!!!!!

Wanda has participated in The Glass Slipper Project which is a non-profit organization that gives away free prom dresses and accessories to high school juniors and seniors in Chicago and the surrounding area so that young girls who would otherwise miss their proms due to whatever reasons prevent them from purchasing a new dress of their own can be a princess for a night.

She would like to not only continue to give back and help these young girls by designing, creating and donating unique one-of-a-kind prom dresses but expand and do more. For every thousand dollars raised, Wanda will be able to create and donate a beautiful prom dress in REAL WOMEN SIZES to young girls who would otherwise have to do without. Building a successful shop would help her to continue these donations. Our goal is also to form collaborative relationships with others to help these young ladies get the FULL prom experience from head to toe.

THAT'S STILL NOT ALL!!!!!!

A lot of people are going through some tough times in this economy. Creating a beautiful, functional and welcoming work space would also mean steady jobs for those around Wanda who need it. For example, women with children who just need that break to no longer merely stay afloat, but pull themselves out of that hole once and for all. 

What We Need

The funds raised will go towards the rental of retail space, equipment and materials needed to cultivate a successful work space not only for the business to profit but also to allow us to continue and expand on the prom dress donation program.
