Founded in 2009 by Smithsonian artist, Alana Lea, Rainforest ECO is now a team of fashion-loving devas and environmental visionaries on a mission to connect customers to sensuous sustainable fabrics while renewing rainforests in Brazil.
We offer a range of high quality, organic, ethically traded fabrics and accessory products including scarves, shawls, sarongs and belts that will soon be available internationally through the online store, as well as in national retail outlets.
We envision a world of benefit from the production and distribution of award-winning fabric art and, we work toward this vision through our commitments to sustainable textile production, ethical sourcing, and rainforest renewal.

Right now we are raising seed funds – both for the company to roll out a complete eco-fashion accessory line for the launch of our online shop AND for our rainforest nursery project in Brazil to begin the seed harvest process for this year.
Up to now, the only people who have our accessories are those who have donated $333 through this link: http://www.rainforesteco.com/donate.shtml.
“Keep up with that fabulous, contagious energy of yours and I know you will reach your goals and make a profound impact on our planet.”

We welcome you to use that link, as Caroline did. But now thanks to IndieGoGo, there are more ways for more people to participate.
Will you break ground with us, participating in the full launch of a sustainable social enterprise AND generating literal seed money for the nursery project?
YOU CAN do that by becoming one of our sponsors today, and by spreading the word using the social media tools here.
If every person who read this contributed at least $10, we’d reach our goal with incredible speed.
How many people do you know who could afford an investment in this Vision? We’re offering gorgeous gifts to those who are able to give more, so that you will become Rainforest Ambassadors with us.
Thank you so very much!
