Non-profit Smiling Z Studios has been designated as the official production team for the winner of the Toronto-based 2010 ReelHeART International Film Festival (RHIFF) short screenplay competition. Non-profit Smiling Z Studios has been designated as the official production team for the winner of the Toronto-based 2010 ReelHeART International Film Festival (RHIFF) short screenplay competition. Non-profit Smiling Z Studios is dedicated to providing paid cast and crew positions in quality productions shot in Western Washington.

Finalist scripts from RHIFF will be sent to Smiling Z Studios, who will select and produce (if we raise sufficient funds by then) the winning script. The film will then screen as a world premiere in competition at RHIFF in June 2010.

You still have time to enter your short script – see the ReelHeART official Web site for competition rules and deadlines. Scripts can be any genre but must be able to be filmed in and around Seattle in February 2010.

Your donations will go through Shunpike, our 501c3 partner organization and will be used to cover cast and crew stipends, equipment rental expenses and other pre-production, production and post-production costs.
