My Story

It's a relatively simple situation.  I'm trying to raise funds for the first print run of my children's book "Wilson Puck".  It's a story of determination, friendship, and having the courage to follow your dreams and keep trying no matter how many times you fail.  The reading level is at about a 6 or 7 year old level and is a great book to read to kids and eventually have them read it back to you!  It's perfect for any hockey loving family as there aren't that many hockey-related children's books out there.

The story goes something like this:

Wilson Puck is an ordinary nine year old boy that loves hockey, but isn't that great at it.  He's been trying out for his local hockey team for a while now but gets rejected every time.  One day, something happens to Wilson and some new friends rescue him from a tough situation.  These friends also provide him with new equipment that will help Wilson improve. Little does Wilson know though, that the only "power" this new equipment has is the power to give him the confidence to believe in himself.  Through hard work and the support of his new friends, Wilson can finally get a spot on the team.

The Impact

If I don't manage to raise enough money, then quite frankly I can't print the book. 

What We Need & What You Get

I have to AT LEAST hit $400 to print the book and cover costs ($400 because indie go go takes a percentage and it will take some money to send all the rewards out).  If I manage to actually raise more than the $500 goal, then that would be phenomenal and could really help out in covering promotional costs.

The first print run will have 100 copies, 24 pages for each full colored book.  The book has a $5.00 price tag and each contributor will receive a signed copy of the book.  The money I'm trying to raise will fund the print run, bookmarks, coloring pages, pins, and more.  There's some other great rewards too, like some of my graphic novels (signed of course), artwork, sketch cards, art prints, and more.
