**************************************** SEE SURGERY UPDATE AT BOTTOM *************************************** I am a 48 yr old hearing impaired Mom of 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and have had biopsy surgeries, plus lots of tests. Due to most recent tests my breast surgery has been moved up to 2/13/2012 I have always been healthy and began feeling sick about 4 months ago. I got the basic insurance at work when I qualified after 6 months because that is all I could afford, but unfortunatley it has a $7500 deductible and due to being out of work for a couple years before finding my most recent job, I now have no savings left and make just above minimum wage. I do not have any back up insurance such as aflac or anything to cover loss of work, I have only been on my job 8 months. I have already lost 3 weeks of work without pay due to recent surgeries. I have had to move in with family to be able to have a roof over my head. I really need help with raising monies to help me with my medical bills and loss of work. Since I do not qualify for state help because I am a single woman with no minor children. Please Please I hope you will find it in your heart to help me. I don't even know what to say on here. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *********************************** SURGERY UPDATE 02/14/2012 ************************************************************************************************************************* I am home from hospital after breast cancer surgery, still pretty groggy, the drs had to take more than thought but did get it all!! YAY, dr wants me off work 2-3 wks depending on how I am progressing and then we will proceed to the next steps ... FUNNY STORY: They were waking me after surgery in recovery & kept saying my name, I said wait... a minute I'm on the phone, then opened my eyes, and said where am I ? I thought I was at work on the phone. LOL... nurses thought it was funny. Since every few minutes I kept asking where I was, yep gotta love general anesthesia..LOL ....Love you all! ♥ ♥ THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR EVERYTHING!!! ♥ ♥
