Our Story
Enforced Arch is the voice of a new dance community, bringing together an eclectic group of compassionate Movers who are dedicated to spreading awareness.
One example of its efforts is an Anti-Fur piece entitled Please, Dont Touch, which depicts the unfortunate lives of animals caught up in the skin trade. You can catch a glimpse of it through the photos here, taken by Joshua Katcher of TheDiscerningBrute.com and the video shared on this page which is an artistic collaboration between creative director, James Koroni and video artist Yessi Yes-Yes Ruiz.

After we performed Please, Dont Touch in D.C. at the Anti-Fur Society Conference, the hype soon followed when Vegan Paris Day invited us to perform it once again at their festival in Paris this fall. We accepted the invitation but can only afford to perform if we raise the travel and accommodation expenses.
With this performance piece we become a voice for the voiceless and tell their story. Paris is only the beginning, we will take full advantage of our experiences there, develop relationships with the community and seek opportunities to share their story worldwide. Whether it be with a viral video or in an intimate performance.

The Impact
Please, Dont Touch focuses energy on a topic that sits at the intersection of social justice, ecology and design. Our ultimate goal is to to become effective conduits for empathy and creative tools for change. Through the use of live performance, transmedia and personal interaction, this project will impact the heavily guarded perceptions of fur iconography by shedding light on what isnt revealed behind the glitz and glamor.
