My Story

I recently, through much (literal) blood and sweat, graduated from the patissiere program at The Escoffier School of Culinary Arts and I have always had several culinary dreams/goals, the first of which is to open my very own pastry trailer here in the best town ever (Austin).

I would primarily be selling french macarons, daily drinks made from locally grown herbs, and random pastries/candies (& options for vegans) from time to time. The main draw/focus OF COURSE being the macarons.

Why

Austin needs some real french macarons up in this town. Very, very few places sell them and most outsource. They neeeeed me. They don't even know they need this. But they do. Oh, they do. 

I make killer macarons.

What Is Needed & What You Get

I'm being extremely economical about this endeavor and have whittled my grand desires down to what I really need to start. 

This money will help me:

• get the type of trailer I feel would be a perfect starter (a 'canned ham' vintage shasta trailer)
  
• refurbish both the outside and get the inside up to code
  
• help with securing an ideal real estate spot
  
• help with some marketing.
  

The recipe development, all the licensing fees, etc., I've provided myself and will continue to add more throughout.

You get, along with the fabulous prizes to the right, the satisfaction of helping out a small, local business get its foot through the door. You help Austin get some really awesome culinary love. And help me achieve a dream. Awww.

UPDATE 1:

Firstly, thank you so much! I'm seriously overwhelmed by all the support. The prizes and goodies will be mailed out when the campaign is over, mainly for organizational reasons. So, keep a look out!
