Our Story

Paradigms is a radio program/podcast featuring interviews with inspired inspiring people from all walks of life combined with music for a 90 minute weekly show.  The show regularly features musicians, writers, film makers, permaculturists, activists, and more, from around the world. Interviews are followed by music giving the listener time to absorb the ideas they've been listening to while enjoying eclectic musical selections.  Each episode has a focus, but the overall theme of the show is Inspired inspiring people; visions of a viable future for life on Earth including humans. Producer and host Baruch Zeichner "I chose to create Paradigms because I need to keep hearing about and connecting with things that are working and people who are making a positive difference.  I know I'm not the only one who needs that."

The Impact

Paradigms is broadcast weekly on the internet on WBKM and is available as a podcast at Paradigms, through iTunes, and as an RSS feed. Listenership is global. Thousands of people around the world listen to Paradigms and many subscribe to the whole podcast series.

What We Need & What You Get

We are looking for $15,000 to fund the next 30 episodes.  Half of that would go to WBKM, the radio station that broadcasts the show, towards station expenses.  WBKM is a small station that still has real DJ's and local advertisers. The deal Paradigms gladly has with WBKM is that they get half of all revenues the show brings in.  The other half would be divided into two parts.  $2500 would pay a stipend for an intern or research assistant, and the remaining $5000 would go to the producer of the show, Baruch Zeichner, as salary.

Supporting Paradigms financially, and spreading the word, are proactive steps in empowering and encouraging humans to choose what happens next on Earth.  By being part of this project you are helping to make space for voices to be heard; voices speaking to the most meaningful issues of our time, and for the sharing of amazing music.  WBKM's motto is Connecting People Through Music.
