One Band One Comic is a one-hour reality/talk show granting its viewers true access & disclosure of their favorite musicians and comedians. The shows main goal is to remove the armor of the entertainers stage persona and learn the unknown about them as a person. Where typical talk shows end is where we begin in our discovery of these unique artists. One Band One Comic is steered by an energetic, inquisitive & empathic host who joins the entertainers in a variety of their favorite activities/hobbies.

Our show commences with the host in front of the show van (open for sponsorship) giving an expos of the band or comic that he is picking up. En route to the artists home, highlights of the activities the host & entertainer are about to do are shown leading into the first commercial break.

The van pulls up to the first entertainers home where the host picks him/her up. The host greets the entertainer and asks what he/she would like to do today via a menu (similar to one you would receive in a restaurant). The entertainer chooses an activity (everything from bowling to tennis to go carts to sea kayaking to skydiving) and then they embark on their destination. For purposes of this treatment the entertainer selects cliff diving. The host happily agrees, and we are off.

At the location, the two steadily hike up the cliff with our crew following. The host will lead with questions, but the conversation is open for the artist to talk about whatever is on their mind. This time is designed specifically to create an intimate connection with the artist. Engaging on a hike offers the host and the viewer the chance to spend one on one & regular time with the artist and get a true feel for them as a person, not just a stage or screen icon.

At the peak the two down a couple drinks (open for sponsorship) before they make the extreme plunge down to the water. From the water, they discuss the thrill of the jump.

Upon the entertainers return home, the host bids him/her farewell. The next piece will follow the same format as the prior one, this time with the selected comedian.
