My Story
A friend suggested I try this campaign as a way of getting some support with my art exhibition. I am home-bound most of the time due to multiple chronic illnesses. I started painting in 2006 and I never imagined that it would be so uplifting! I also never imagined that I would get the chance to exhibit my work. i haven't studied art, i've just fallen into it... and now the opportunity has come up to exhibit 45 - 50 of my paintings!!! as part of a joint show : POW Childrens' Hospital Xmas Art Exhibitions Opening 8th Dec at 5:30pm - 8:30pm at Big Pond Cafe Level 0, (High Street
entrance), Randwick, Sydney. Artworks on 4 levels on show until 27th Jan 2012).
**Update: 15th Nov 2011**
Everything is on track and i'm gettin really excited about opening day. I still need help with the costs of framing and thanks to contributions thus far... i'm getting closer to the goal! Your donations will not only help me, you'll also be supporting the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation. (25% of my sales/proceeds goes to SCH Foundation). I'm looking forward to adding some colour to the hallways of Level 3, and hopefully the sick kiddies and their families will like it too : )
for a preview of my paintings go here:

Hope to see you there, if you're in sydney... your support is greatly appreciated.

What I Need & What You Get
I will need around $2000 to pay for quality frames. I have someone working on the frames (a lovely and generous soul) and I'm endeavoring to pay installments on the work, but its slow going on the pension! Every person who contributes will receive one of my original hand painted (frame-able) greeting cards.
Other Ways You Can Help
Please help my campaign by sharing/linking this article with your friends or anyone you feel may be interested in helping out. My aim is to sell enough work at the exhibition to fix my car! Many thanks : )
