Our Story

The ZaaZaa Productions,10-person crew has embarked on creating a music video for the Pop Pistol song "No New Year's Know." This is a creative exploit that will push the limits of the visual arts community in San Antonio. Combining live action filming of Alex Scheel (lead guitarist, programmer, and vocalist) and animating Pop Pistol's graphics will tell a story of self-discovery and spiritual awakening in a co-planar world that is both celestial and close to the earth. As the ideas to make this the best music video possible expanded, so did the amount of crew members and the material needed to create it. Now, we need help to bring this vision to life!

The Impact

What We Need & What You Get

Basic materials for wardrobe, equipment for live action filming, additional programs for post-production effects, and sustenance for the crew come shooting time is the core of what we need. The entire crew is comprised of visual artists, so our exchange for donations is all hand-made art. Alex Scheel, the creator of the visuals we will be animating, is offering the featured artwork, handmade cassette mixtapes of Pop Pistol's songs, and a personal concert via Skype! Photo albums of behind-the-scenes moments and making of the video are also offered in the perks. The last and most exciting is becoming a Co-Producer of the music video! After all, your contributions are what made this possible.
