3-12-11 Production is officially slated to begin on March 28th. We have been able to secure much of the material needed for SFX and are moving forward.
We still need you to become part of the film! Funding is NOT complete and we will need much of the funding for production and post production. Only 19 Days left!
We have not yet secured either of the Senior executive producer perks, so you still have time to have YOUR name immortalized on the front of the Mother's Blood DVD (to be seen in retail chains, rental stores, conventions, etc), promo materials, website, facebook and more! We will be seeking worldwide distribution of this film and we have secured an imdb page for it.

3-1-11 Due to some outside funding we are closer to our goal than shown here but still not close enough. We need you to get on board and help put this campaign where it needs to be!
We have also acquired some amazing new equipment. We will now be shooting with top of the line DSLR HD cameras and lenses, along with amazing new rail systems, slider and dollys!
We also have finished construction of the new cellar set and it is even better than before. It is larger and more ominous and is going to be amazing.

The Mother's Blood Story...

When attractive socialite Vivian (Kitsie Duncan) is involved in a horrible accident that destroys her beauty, she seeks to restore it by making a "deal" with a mysterious gypsy who warns her that by gaining her beauty and losing her deformity, someone close to her must lose theirs....much to her horror that "someone" happens to be her daughter.  After years of locking her daughter away, much too ashamed for the world to see her, Vivian is once again visited by the mysterious gypsy who offers a grisly "solution" to restore her daughter's beauty as well....a solution that includes murder, mutilation and cannibalism and causes Vivian's life to spiral horribly out of control.....The cost of staying beautiful will be paid in the flesh and blood by those around her!"

From the producers...

Mother's Blood is a collaborative effort that will showcase the talents of three up-and-coming production companies based in the Midwest; Clockwerk Pictures (Come, Roses), Darkrider Studios (Lethal Obsession, A Christmas Scream, Meateater) and Muscle Wolf Productions (Psycho Street). Mother's Blood is a fantastic story written by author C. Ray McManus that delivers an iconic evil female character that is sure to appeal to the masses. The story has been called a dark, eerie fairy tale that will bring fourth a gamut of emotions from the viewer. Mother's Blood will have an IMDB presence as well.

The production of this film is slated to begin in early April 2011 and has a completion date of September 15, 2011.

The Campaign...

We invite you to be a part of an amazing film that will be the showcase piece of the three aforementioned film companies. The cast and crew assembled for this film is a fantastic group with an incredible array of talents and are all looking to truly show what we are capable of. Without your help, the project may not ever see production.

What We Need & What You Get...

We are looking for a grand total of $12,000 to fund the entire feature along with getting post production marketing underway. We know that $12,000 can seem like a very small budget for a feature film however, with those involved being so talented in so many areas, nearly all aspects of production will be done in house (from organic SFX creation to the design of the booth for conventions).

Some examples of what your donation will go towards are Props (customized for SFX), SFX Materials (Various silicones, latex, various make-up) , Location Rentals, Equipment Purchases and Rentals (Any lighting not already on-hand, bulbs, crane/dolly, gels), Wardrobe, Record-able Media (hard Drives, cassettes), Post Production Advertising (magazine, convention, t-shirts), Contention Costs (booth, travel, furnishing), Film Festival Submissions, Actor Travel Expenses (air-fare for out of town actors), and Replication of DVDs.

Don't forget that often film production can be tax deductible as a hobby! So not only do you get your name on this film but you can deduct the amount of your donation as a hobby on your taxes!*

*Please consult your tax professional for any and all details regarding tax deductions.

All perks are listed with Donation amounts.
